Outdoor activities in Trarego Viggiona

Trarego Viggiona, an Orange Flag town in the upper Lake Maggiore, extends along the slopes of Mount Carza.

This mountain, in addition to numerous scenic trails (which can be found here), also offers some perfect attractions for those who love nature and experiencing it from different points of view.

Big Bench on Mount Carza

The first Big Bench in the Lakes area (Lake Maggiore and Varese) is located on Monte Carza at an altitude of 1116 m above sea level.
The Big Bench is nothing more than a bench, but it has a peculiarity: its large size. In fact, climbing a giant bench allows you to become a child again and admire the view of Lake Maggiore from a different perspective.
To get to the bench, a trail starts from Wonderwood Park: the view you will have upon arrival will be unforgettable!

Panoramic swing

Symbols of slow and conscious tourism, capable of attracting hikers, families, and photography enthusiasts, the Swing The World swings (a project born and spread in Switzerland during the pandemic) arrive in Italy, right in Trarego Viggiona, on Mount Carza.

The swing, handcrafted from wood, is positioned in harmony with the surrounding environment, inviting visitors to pause, sit, and be lulled by the movement as they immerse themselves in the tranquility of the landscape and reconnect with nature.

The essential design, combined with the evocative power of the swinging gesture, creates a profound emotional experience, inviting reflection, lightness, and sharing.

Wonderwood – Family Adventure Park

The park where little ones can have adventures when they grow up and where grown-ups can become children again for a day.
With a splendid view of Lake Maggiore, Wonderwood will spend a day in nature with eight adventure trails for ages three and up, a large playground, mini jeeps and a relaxation area with a water area at 1,000 metres above sea level (and cool!)
